I absolutely have zero issues with you disabling comments. I have other ways to make my opinions known!

I'm getting lots of spam too, but it's all anonymous. Isn't it possible to turn anonymous comments off? Real humans usually have OpenID or Twitter or similar.

You're right. I hadn't turned off anonymous comments as a point of principal, but there are other places for anonymous commenters.

I usually reply to your posts on LJ here simply because I have a tendency to read my f-list on LJ first and then on DW. (Most of my non-Milliways friends still blog only on LJ.) The only drawback to posting on DW is that when I use my phone, there is an LJ app that I find easier to use for replies than posting through a browser for DW, but I don't use my phone to post that often yet. (And while I know DW lacks the resources to develop an app now, I can't imagine they won't find a way to create one at some point.)
