Post to LiveJournal bookmarklet

Um.

This feature kind of sucks. All it does is open the update page with a link already coded. I recommend people continue to us

- Delicious Glue, combined with the delicious blog rescue tool, for when the Delicious blog feature doesn't work, as it so often doesn't.
- Deepest Sender, which has a 'send to Deepest ( Read more... )

I dunno. I use the LJ interface a lot more than I use DS, and many people actively prefer it (Jennie won't use a client for example).

It's inflexible and could be improved (have commented on the Releases post and will harass further), but it's a) better than nothing and b) something that every other blogging platform I've used already has.

You can highlight some text, click the bookmarklet, and have a window open with that text and a coded link already set. That'll save me some time for quicker posts.

Plus, it works with LJ addons, so all my coded insets remain useful, whereas with clients they don't.

Oh yeah, congrats, really cool. I assume you'll spam us with pics at some point even if we don't want them, right?

I never got into the hang of the interface. When I started LJ, they were discouraging its use.

I'm glad LJnow has a bookmarklet, but I'd rather get a pop-up window. And one post per link spam annoys me. I like Delicious Glue and the DS set up more because you can collect links and post them at once.

If they let me take photos in the hospital, you can bet you ponytail I'll be spamming you!

I have nothing to contribute except eeeeee neice!

Does she have a name yet, or is there still pondering?

She does, only there's no concensus yet on how to spell it. It's Abby, or Abi, or Abbie or Abbey or... when they've decided a spelling, I'll let you know.

- Does Martha have a Cat like personality or is it just that she's black?

I have no idea, actually.

Then again, Jack's nothing like Kryten, either, so it's probably just who was easiest to photoshop into who.

Congratulations! It's fun being an aunt.

I'm not too impressed with the LJ bookmarklet. I share stuff on Google Reader and I've found that the Firefox add-on Shareaholic is a great way to do that. It also works with Facebook, Twitter, Del.icio.us. You might want to check it out.
