The following is perhaps the most callous thing I'll say for a long time, but:

Dear Kate and Gerry,
    Get. The fuck. Over it.
         love, IB

I'm extra unsympathetic to them today because they've decided to cash in on the Fritzl case my wrangling themselves column inches just to say Maddie might be in a dungeon like Elisabeth. And it makes me ( Read more... )

Yup.

(See my “Conservatives: wilfully Evil, or just really ignorant?” post).

I have this horrible feeling that too many people of voting age don't remember or know how bad it was under the Tories. This is Not Good.

I don't remember how bad it was under the Tories (I really don't. I never paid attention while under 16). I'm still not voting for them because of their policies.

Well, there's that. But I still think there's this danger that they'll say nice things to get votes, and then once they're in revert to being unfathomably evil bastards. And too much of the population seem unaware of the historical Bastard-ness from last time.

It also pisses me off that the policies are stolen wholesale by Labour, meaning we haven't had anyone left of centre since I was old enough to notice.

I just can't account for it in my worldview. What the fuck is wrong with him?

I've never actually like Vegas, I just think he is a stupid fat fool, but this takes the biscuit! I wasn't there so if this happened as stated, and I have no doubt that it did, then he should be arrested.

That is not comedy, it's an outrage!

I remember seeing one of his televised gigs a few years back, and basically his routine is "pathetic man in pub who alternates between letchery and bullying". He'll pick on a particular person and basically meke them really uncomfortable the whole night.

Its not as if its clearly a character like Al Murray. (Even if it was it still wouldn't be acceptable.)

If that Vegas thing was real, and she wasn't in on it, he needs to be very arrested.

I cannot take David Blaine seriously since Londoners proved themselves awesome:

Blaine crossed the Atlantic to London where in September 2003 he suspended himself above the Thames river in a clear 7ft by 7ft by 3ft case and starved himself for 44 days. Some Londoners, however, failed to embrace Blaines presencemany hurled taunts and insults, while some threw eggs or launched golf balls from a nearby course. A few even cooked hamburgers underneath his suspended cage, letting the delicious smells of grilled beef waft upwards to the starving artist.

We ARE awesome, and I hope he got the message and never comes back.

But we should never miss the opportunity to use the phrase git wizard.

I love how the page starts to load and then decides it can't be found.

Didn't someone dangle a hamburger from a remote controlled helicopter?
