...well, not the rest of my life, but the first day of this part of my life. Yesterday was my last shift at CCK, and I ended on a positive note (I think.) Tomorrow I start at the Grant Museum (eeee) and in the meantime I'm going to find my stride again with the PhD again ( Read more... )

About six months ago, my local comicboook store had remainder bins full of Fray - not gold foil variant though - and I could have put together mint #1-8 first printings for about AUS$42. I've had the Fray TPB for a while so I didn't bother but when I went again last month, every single individual issue was gone. Damn - I bet a set like that will be worth something now that Melaka is back (well, soon, at any rate)!

Bah, all this newfound popularity shenanigans. I'd want them 'cause I love Fray. My TPB is already getting old enough to need replacments, and I have the limited edition signed THB.

Was the limited edition the one with the pink and black cover? That one always looked cool to me. And signed too? Who by?I wish they would do an Ultimate Edition like they have with Watchmen, Batman: Hush and so on but I suspect that's never going to happen sadly.
