Of course chicks dig giant robots. We only have to see Asuka kicking all kinds of ass in Evangelion to know that's the case. (I'd link to a picture of the pleasingly-beserker young red-haired lady who is by far a better warrior than the protagonist himself, but every time I do a google image search it comes up with 3000 pages of fan-drawn Asuka bondage porn or schoolgirl art and I think my work filters are going to explode.) So in fact, not entirely proving my point then.
