Case in point: I obsess about LiveJournal filters. I want to be on every single filter everyone has, and I go back regularly to see if there are posts I can't see. And if there are I decide that people have been writing about me behind my back, because I'm determined that everyone's judging me at all times. Not because I don't appreciate objectively the need to talk about people, not to them, but because of my anxiety about what you're saying about me.

If either of you ever check my journal, um. I post to private-lock about fifty times a day, with homework, phone #s, and half-finished posts. I've been wondering if maybe I should mention this sometime so nobody thinks they're filtered away from 90% of my posts . . .

I can definitely relate to the paranoia, although it surprises me to see the same anxieties in people I think are amazing. But, yeah, I always think that people in some other part of the internet are bitching like mad about me and that worries me even if it shouldn't.

Despite the fact you actually told me to, I still haven't actually done that yet, probably because it requires me shutting down my browser; I'll set you up a Windows login and transfer the profile over before you're next down.

I rarely use posting filters; I tried, once or twice, but it seemed pointless. Then, I don't RP, I don't really mod, etc. I have 'for one specific person only' filters for, I think, three people, and sometimes post private reminders, but not often currently as I'm not really online at work.

rho's friends page shows her how many posts someone has made when they post using LJ-fu, which is a bit too much for my tastes; I know how to work it out if I need to, but can rarely be arsed.

I figure that even if you don't have any issues with your parents, people are going to end up having issues about that anyway. (I don't hate my father like Joss Whedon says I should? OH NOES!) But parent-child roles in life, I can kind of see. There's responsibility and being taken responsibility for. Makes sense.

But I can assure you that the only non-Debi filter I have ever seen in my life was Bing's "I'm coming to London to surprise The Brat SHHH! Tell her and I rip out your innards!" or something to that effect.

Also, that production looks awesome. I'd love to see that, and not only because ballet dancers are hot.
