Manic Mondays aren't always bad things,

I'm in that horrible ELjayer's position of having her entire friends page taken up with a meme I have no interest in partaking in, at all ( Read more... )

Out of curiosity, and as someone who doesn't really know much about role-playing in general, or your role-playing in particular, how many characters would you typically say you are actively playing - either online or IRL - at any given time? It's just that, from little references like this one it often seems to me as though you must have literally dozens on the go at once. Is this really true, and if so, how do you keep abreast of them all?

Ahahahaha, yeah I have loads. But I also have a short attention span, and aren't actively playing them.

Right now, actively, I have... 4 in Milliways, 1 in S_E and 1 (soon to be 2) in in-the-woods. But that just means I can say "today I feel like playing Will" when I start. They get picked up and dropped at whim, because sometimes a 'voice' is stronger than at others.

So while I've been consistently playing Mel for two years, my first online character lasted only three months before she was inactive, then another three or so before I stopped playing her altogether. Similarly, I'll go months between playing Death, as he doens't need to be played linearly.

Yeah, I can see how that works. It's like RP character Darwinism - the good ones flourish and you use them regularly or long-term, the less interesting ones wither away and eventually die off altogether. I especially like the idea that Death is exempt from that!

You are Cera. Duh. :)

And I know how you feel, given that I rarely do memes these days in general. What possessed me to add to the MilliSpam in this case? Idle curiosity, I guess.

She's 15, according to herself, and hasn't started drivers training yet.

...

What?

I'm still curious how a sophmore managed to make homecoming queen, really.

When does she say that?

Only thing I can find is in
The Fix when 14 years ago she was 18months, but it could have been 14 years ago in January, as at that stage you only look at the year, so she'd be 16 now. That ties in with what Sandra says in
Distractions when Claire's described as being "co-captain by Junior year", though admittedly Sandra's brain damaged.

Though I haven't read the comic. I need to get hold of that.

Wikipedia knows all! (It actually knows too since there is a small spoiler in the article.)

Though I assume both of you have visited this listing, since I know that i use it far too often for my own RP research.
