Fic: "Good Science" (Angel/CSI crossover; Fred/Sara)

Apr 14, 2005 01:07

'Tis femslash. Only my second try (or so) at writing femslash. I apologize. They mostly just wanted to have smart-girl geeky banter. Meep.

V. sleepy. Must go to bed. But made an arbitrary goal to finish and post this tonight.

Unrelated- ladyemma? Did you get my e-mail with the story attached? Gmail's been being wonky, I just wanted to make sure ( Read more... )

Don't mind me, I'm just sitting here staring at your mood pic ... how big are those biceps, anyway? *does Pavlov's dog impression* I once dated a guy built like that - apparently I've never quite gotten over it.

Oh yeah, the story ... femme slash isn't my thing, but I think you did good. I especially like the notion of the two of them being totally geeky yet totally not in each other's company.

And I also like this: They should've met years before, in the dorms, where they could've failed all the social rules together instead of separately. But hey, they met now - that's something, right?

That mood pic is lovely. Like I've said before, of COURSE the reason I love "Shindig" isn't JUST because of the scene of him doing pull-ups in the cargo bay, and the arms are all...yeah. Because that would be shallow. ::innocent whistling::

And re the fic...thanks. :)

*ahem* There is nothing shallow about Jayne-lust (or Adam-lust, for that matter). It is a deep and abiding state of grace, the fulfillment of the soul's eternal quest for - oh, who I am I kidding? If it were a puddle you'd barely get your feet wet. Don't mean it ain't worthwhile, though ... *eg*

"The soul's eternal quest for...guh." And similar nonverbal expressions of "oh, that's nice and pretty and good."

Indeed. ;) Entirely worthwhile.

Worth the wait (-:

I loved the starwberries and this bit which was a little strange for a self-confessed antisocial science geek who lived alone, but Fred didn't believe in prying questions. (nice insight into both) and this bit She'd skipped over the step of actually asking Fred and gone right to the practicalities. They should've met years before, in the dorms, where they could've failed all the social rules together instead of separately. the best and of course the hotness.

Yep, got it. And I read it and absolutely loved it, but I'm gonna give it another read over for input before I send it back to you.

And dude, you make me wish I watched CSI. Hey, you know what I found in my store, yesterday? A CSI graphic novel. I couldn't freaking believe it.

CSI graphic novels? How weird!

I was trying to send my brother a file last night, and it kept saying it had gone through but he didn't receive it, so I was like "Oh, GREAT, I wonder what else hasn't gone through lately?" So just checking. :) ::bounce;: Yay!
