Oh wow. This is brilliant.

You give them (Robert, particularly) so much depth and the way you have Kevin work through the reasons, the wherefores, the dynamics, Robert's physicality and all the little signs, and all the rest of it is awesome, in both senses of that word.

It's the tension still sharp and metallic in the air between them, more than there's been for months, higher-pitched and keener and lighting up Kevin's nerves like Las Vegas. What do you do with that kind of tension except channel it through the body and into a point of focus?
And THIS. Wow. Just, wow. *loses any semblance of coherency* :D

I love this a lot. I love the way Kevin sees things, all moody and introspective without actually seeing anything for real at all because he's put up all these defenses. He eventually gets there, because for all his faults he's a good guy, but still.

Also, he and Robert are insanely hot together, even when they don't actually do anything.

Okay, one--I have no idea how I missed this, and two, you are awesome and brilliant and this is everything I could ask for here--and I really love how you painted Kevin, how surprisingly mature he turns out to be, in the end. Really just fabulous.

I don't know these characters and I've never seen this show, but I wanted to read this fic anyway because I remember you explaining it to me and how interesting it sounded then.

This is really, really good. I'm sure I'm missing a lot of nuance, but you have such a way with language and description and you painted very real characters here. I feel like I have a solid idea of them even without having seen the show.
