Oh, ow. Wonderful and v. in character (and I LOVED the bit about the McCallisters thinking they're better than everyone else, because it's SO TRUE.) and I'd write more but I need to catch a bus.

Thanks! I don't know why, but the idea of Jason going through a rebellious phase before he goes minister-y just grabs me. Also, you know, Jason + seedy bathroom sex. What? ;)

Someday I will write the McCallister family fic I've been wanting to write since that last episode with Jason, where he and Robert had that big talk about, basically, how awesome they are. Because that family's sin is hubris, and I'd really love to dig into it.

Oh my God, you are so on about that. And it's a really fascinating kind of hubris, because you can tell they've got good intentions and they mean to do good things, but deep down...yeah. And if one of the Walkers (I'm thinking Kitty or Kevin, or hell, just SOMEBODY, could call them on it...t'would be AWESOME.) Sorry, heh.
