I don't think I fully understand the Chi/Psi stuff. I get the basics though: Chi = good, Psi = bad.

if Ryan's not a werewolf, does that mean he's half of some other supernatural creature? why does he have magic? will that be explained later? & can he still be a Chi if he's half human? (assuming his Dad is some kind of supernatural being.)

the story's interesting though. I don't really ship Danny/Ryan just yet, (I rarely get behind instant attraction, so that could be why). I'm not really seeing the Derek/Stiles, but I'm hoping that it'll be a bit more prominent later on.

I kind of feel sorry for Ryan: he just made friends and already they're acting like he's wronged them in some way.
still though, I don't trust the guy.

I should probably explain this because though it's clear in my head, it's not clear for everyone else.

The Chi in this 'verse is fully human. The werewolf nature does not get passed from the werewolf parent. However, since the werewolf gene is still passed on (but is silenced by another one) it still manifests itself, just differently. Hence, we have the magical shielding business. As for family dynamics, that will be explained a bit more later. Let's just say history repeats itself?

And it's totally okay to not ship Danny/Ryan, haha. I didn't really make them work for it, which is kinda lazy of me, but hopefully people are okay with it? And this really should be more classified as building towards Derek/Stiles because it is going to take a while.

And I think it's actually kinda normal to not trust Ryan--he hasn't really proved his loyalty at all, yeah?
