I get totally uncomfortable with stuff like this. I mean, yes, going off and riding the rails all Jack Kerouac sounds amazing and romantic on some levels, but at the same time, there are people who do that because they have nowhere else to go, and no other recourse, and if you have other legit options and do it anyway... you are using up resources that those people need. One may say I have issues (heck, I felt bad busking because none of us ~needed~ the money for anything more pressing than pizza), but still. *shrugs*

Yeah. I really agree with you. Like I said, if she were doing something, anything so there was some kind of equal exchange, it wouldn't get under my skin so much. But like you said (and this came up more when I was talking this out with penguinfaery verbally, I just didn't want to go too in depth into this specific point and make the post even longer) but...there are people who don't have any other option but this. And she, so far as I know, does. And she's still living this way. That doesn't sit right with me at all.
