Sam sat propped against the stone, his head dropping sideways and his breathing heavy. In his lap lay Frodo's head, drowned deep in sleep; upon his white forehead lay one of Sam's brown hands, and the other lay softly upon his master's breast. Peace was in both their faces.

...I'm just sayin'.

You know, I'm sort of blind to LotR ho yay because it would scar my childhood, but I didn't realize it also would involve creepy power dynamics.

I think...like...I see Sam as the aggressor there (and they are also very much friends besides being master&servant) so it doesn't bother me as much. If that's what gets to you.
