Some of that stuff you could probably make yourself. Or at least, make something equally as cool that you could brag about because it was handmade. XD That will totally be my apartment house thing when I am not in tiny student housing anymore.

Also, I <3 that earing stand. I need a new jewelry box. Blah.

Psssht. I have a serious case of TEH LAZIES. Thanks for the vote of confidence, though! You've never seen me sew anything, have you? LET'S JUST SAY IT AIN'T PRETTY. I totally had that moment as a child that they always talk about in books, you know, where the Best Friend or whatever can make beautiful perfect tiny invisible stitches and yours look like a bear clawed through the fabric? YEAH. THAT TOTALLY HAPPENED TO ME. TRUFAX.

Also, I like supporting China's the economy. Aand buying stuff. Isn't it neato? Mom and AC bought me the owl necklace stand from UrbanOutfitters like, randomly because they thought I needed it (I LOVE MY FAMILY) and it is my pride and joy. There is nothing more satisfying than organizing jewelry, IMO. ♥

Ha, the best friend scenario pretty much describes my mom and me. I swear, if you give her a shirt, a needle, and a piece of string, she can turn it into a quilt within 24 hours. It's just not fair. :p

I was more referring to stuff like that earing stand on etsy. My mom and I are actually going to try to make something like that, which is mostly why I left the comment, lol. Making things out of magazines would be really fun too, except the only magazines we have around here are my dads and feature nothing but engines and other ugly crap that I would never make decorative stuff out of.

I thought at first that magazine mirror thing was a huge DVD rack, and I got really excited for a minute. I want one of those dorky racks that you can push the button and it will cycle through your stuff. I'd probably break it though, because I would stand there and laugh while it buzzed around and around and around and then THUNK it's dead.
