I mean, I knew what she was trying to say, but she also kept saying my opinion was stupid and that apparently preparing for the worst makes you miss opportunities? Which also made me go 'lolwut' because apparently the ultimate goal when preparing for the worst is avoiding things, which is not true at all.
I kind of want someone to do a dramatic reading of the convo now lol.
(also it's my personal belief that it's kinda dumb to expect the government to back you up when you fail at your own life unless it's extenuating circumstances, then again I'm a VERY independent person who doesn't like to depend greatly on people for basic life stuff all the time).
