You're crazy but it's ok 'cause this is a great idea for an AU. That said I'm going to be mean and declare I'm not going to read it until the story is finished. The games always scared me, like a lot, the movie not so much but I better take the whole pill than fragments.

AHHH, I survived! Holy crap, I'm so proud of myself. That was pretty freaking scary. But on another note, Awww for Quinn caring for Rachel so much. Even though she barely associates with the girl, here she is going into a fucking creepy underground basement thing for her. +1 Brownie points!!

This is really well done. Enjoying it immensely. Horror aside, there is an undercurrent of sadness here that is so very intriguing.

I've seen Silent Hill, and know quite a bit about the games, and while they're notorious for being crazy fucked up and gory, the story surging behind the horror is always a sad, and often beautiful one, so I can't wait to see what you do with this.

As for the horror, I'm really liking the atmosphere you're creating. The siren is such a good tool to invoke fear in your audience (both in the game, and you're wonderful use of it) because it signals something fucking awful is coming, but you don't exactly know what. Your hellfire toddler demons are great, and I have a feeing, the tip of an iceberg of creatures Quinn will have to face (and maybe Rachel already has?). Brilliant, absolutely.

First off, thank you for such a great review~! Or comment, however things work around here XD

Silent Hill is just one big gorrific mind screw, and you're absolutely right; at the meat of it lies a beautifully tragic story. You have no clue how much it relieves me to know that I'm doing the games and the movie right by it.

Haha, I can't take credit for use of the hellfire toddler demon baby things. They were used/introduced in the movie. No way my mind would be creative (or perhaps twisted?) enough to craft those buggers.
