[It's a completely white room, to the point where the walls and floors appear to meld into one. An old classic, really. Except he quite liked sitting down, so there's a round table and two chairs, coffee pot and cups on the table. A smaller, white vase containing some light purple and red flowers sits at the center of the table.]
"Did you have a nice nap? I do hope your little trip wasn't too tiring."
[asdf;lkj yeah that got him to wake up quickly. Instantly alert and on his feet]
[Who was this guy, anyway? Another meddling god? He looked perfectly ordinary, but... he didn't sound surprised at his presence. Like he was expecting him. That set off all sorts of warning bells.]
[Better play it safe. Time to put on the best scared child look!]
"Where... where am I? Please, mister, I just want to go home."
[Ha ha nice try, kid. Joshua's been acting for way longer than you. No harm in indulging the kid, anyway.]

"Hmm, how should I put it ♪~" [Crossing legs and lightly touching a strand of hair] "You could call this a... breather episode. A little break to rest between interdimensional travel. You'll be on your way home, soon enough."
[The guy's words put him a little more at ease, no fighting in someone else's war, and it showed with his shoulders relaxing. Still, he didn't know anything about this guy. He didn't even know if he was being told the truth. He had to be cautious.]
"Will you be going home soon?" [The guy seemed to have been here for longer than him.]
