OMG, THAT IS SO AWESOME.

I have a feud with hail. I've seen it three times too, and one time was when I had a 24hour solo out in the bush for 'survival camp' and all that was between me and the hail was a crappy makeshift tent, because I can't tie knots,

4hour solo out in the bush for 'survival camp'

OMG, THAT IS SO AWESOME.

I've always been into nature hikes, camps and stuff! At least your tent was sturdy enough for the night!

YOU TOTALLY SHOULD HAVE COME, OMG. If that was possible. Heh.
(It was actually a 5 week school camp and we had a 4 day hike and it was bamf and etc)

Yeah, it served me well during the night. (:
Except it got windy the next day and like, an hour before we finished it just... FELL DOWN, haha.

THAT SOUNDED LIKE SO MUCH FUN!

We had camp from school too, but for only 3 days at most D:

What kind of tent was it? the kind with pegs and stuff, or more like a tarpaulin improvised version?

it hailed on me when i was little and omg it was so scary. the hailstones were like the size of tennis balls or even baseballs. they broke our roof and one of our windows. so other than that.... i do quite enjoy hail. XDDDD

oh yeah i was fine! we were inside downstairs (two-storey house) and our house just leaked for like a month. my brother insists he wasn't scared but i know differently.

Today, my sister pulled into our driveway really quick and it was the quickest parking shes ever done! The stones were fairly small, but they can still do a bit of damage to the glass.

the leak must have sucked! did you have pots to catch the water? Go enviro green!

Hail is the most dramatic kind of precipitation :P

It is, innit? Gets me way more excited than snow, but snow lasts longer, when its not overly trodden on, hee!

Though I do fancy making snow angels, anow men and having snow ball fights with my flist and the Merlin cast! that would be epic!

Once in NZ when I was about 9 or 10, it suddenly started hailing really hard at school, and we all had to take refuge underneath the tree fort :P It was awesome!

YESSS THAT WOULD BE SO COOL

Oh Shika m'dear, there are more bizarre things I do you should be worried about!

And hail stones are just a tad different from snow, would you run away from snow?

vella_amor_dm September 7 2009, 14:07:25 UTC
LOL! but hail stones HURT! snow is pretty and non-hurty and you can ski in it :D :D

Say I picked up some snow and packed it tight, is it pretty and non-hurty then? AND I can still ski on that (ice skating)

so hows you?
