Thank you for reading, despite it being outside your normal preferences. I'm glad the emotional tone came through to you so strongly.

poignant... beautiful. loved the theme of the title repeated throughout.

i have to wonder what will happen to those who took advantage of evan after his return -- something suitably harsh, i'd hope.

as always, well worth reading. bravo!

I'm not, at this time, planning an extension to the story -- it's more of a snapshot. However, one never knows; the year is still young. *g*

I'm glad you enjoyed the reptitions -- I enjoy playing with cyclic themes. Thank you very much for reading!

okay, -wow.-

Dare I hope we're going to get to see more of this? You've given us a really spectacular interval of their relationship -- I really, really want to see more.

Please?

Thank you for your kind words.

I don't anticipate writing further on this particular storyline; certainly not in the immediate future. My poetically-infused prose muse comes rather rarely, so we shall have to see what appears when she next chooses to paint me with her warm words. :-)

Thank you!

I understand where you are coming from -- the individual and collective guilt of these men is an enormous challenge for Carson. Who is likely still pondering precisely how to respond to it. *g*
