June Book Selection

May 20, 2005 10:40

Hello all,

Any suggestions for our June book? I'd love to read something that's new for as many people as possible. Is there something on your to-read list that you'd love an excuse to jump to? Let us know.

As usual, I'll take suggestions for a few days and put up the voting poll shortly.

Thanks for the input! I think nonfiction might be a nice change of pace for everyone after frothy Pratchett.

I'll second yhlee's suggestion of the Adrienne Rich, since I have it sitting unread on my shelves.

Other suggestions from my sadly vast piles of unread books:
- Alberto Manguel, A History of Reading
- Emma Donoghue, Slammerkin
- Robertson Davies, What's Bred in the Bone (I think this has been suggested before)

Or I'd still love to read Sedaris's Naked, from last month's poll.
