Omg, Raphael was perfect. She was everything I loved about her character in the series, sharp, demanding and controlling, but the suggestion of softness and playfulness, her self-awareness of her sexual side with all her lace was perfection.

And I love Adam's drunk, relishing narrative. Never change, Adam. Never change.

Raphael totally wears lace, all the pretty girly sexy lace. She wore it even when she had a male vessel but it was uncomfortable, and probably was the only reason she chose a female vessel a second time around. (Behold my cracky headcanon.)

Also drunk rambly Adam is always amazingly fun to write. Even when he's bothering about getting killed.

Ha, this headcanon puts a smile on my face. That's a great mental image of original!Raphael scowling all the time because his lace chafed or just didn't fit right!

If Raphael expects an improved performance from Adam next time, she'll have to give him a performance review, possibly with more practical instruction. Just a thought. ;)
