I've just stumbled on this pretty verse via spn_wut, and just for that I'm really glad this community exists.
I love(LOVE!) stories involving ex vessels, so I was quite happy to see someone has written some Nick/adam. I've already read some Dean/Nick and Nick/Sam fic, so it completes my too-small-to-deserve-the-word collection.
I'm surprised no one (to my knowledge) thought about it before, they do make sense together, since, as you've pointed out, they have basically no one else to hold on to (Sam's quite the bastard to have left his little bro to deal with the everything alone).
and as much as I love slash, I love that it is just gen for now, because it makes much more sense, what with them being fucked up beyond belief. I really like how realistically you write their post-apocalypse life, how hard it is for them to reclaim their identity, themselves, past the whole "ex archangels condoms" thing.

and I love that despite everything, they're both quite the bamfs in dealing with the supernatural.
