It feels like there's a ton going on right now, and yet I suspect it's a lot of the same old stuff. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I am in the process of becoming a pescetarian. I say "in the process" because we still have meat in our apartment, like deli turkey that C won't eat, and as much as I want to make the change right now, it seems ( Read more... )

Good for you for going more veggie! I know you're trying to accommodate your dude, too, which is great, but I totally recommend experimenting with new recipes and ways of eating. From experience, and watching others try to go veg, I think people are a lot more successful if you aren't tied down to the Protein/Meat + afterthought side dishes. We eat a lot of beans and lentils in burritos and enchiladas as well as in Indian Dal dishes. Going veg has opened up a whole new world of delicious foods and I've tried so many different vegetables and cuisines that I never bothered with as a meat-eater. I hope you also find a new love of food, too ( ... )

I'm kind of going veggie AND getting REALLY active all at once, so at the moment I'm sticking to some organic ready-made stuff, like mac and cheese, and letting my guy sort of figure out if he'd like to share what I'm having or if he'd like to make something else. Been pretty successful so far :)

I already changed tattoo ideas. Or I shouldn't say changed, but switched around the priority of several ideas I have. And if I'm not careful, I WILL end up getting it before the summer. I'm stupidly impulsive like that, sometimes :) Two chrysanthemums and a gladiolus, the birth flowers of my dad, and both my nephews. The three most important people in my world.
