I love Paine, I love Rikku, and I have recently come to love you, in a non-creepy way. Promise.

Paine is so perfect here, and even though I hate Auron/Rikku, this is so well done I can't even find it in me to feel even the tiniest bit squicked.

My only complaint is the word 'guys'. I hate that word except when used in dialogue. But whatever, because YAY.

I'm not actually that much of an Auron/Rikku fan myself, but I ended up writing some for muggy_mountain via ff_exchange (She demanded proof that it could be well written and mutual! I gave her proof that all my pairing fics are really gen!).

I actually used the word because that's how Paine referred to them in the game - but yeah, I can see how it sounds kinda weird not in dialogue...
