I'm going to be laptop-less for the next few days, so I thought I'd better stick this up now. ;)

Every time I read a new chapter I'm nearly afraid to breath, should I miss some detail. Brilliant, thrilling and truly fabulous. I love this story so much! I can't wait for the next part! :)

*blushes* Cheers! :D I worry about the pacing starting to flag, so 'thrilling' is definitely good! *hugs*

*hugs* Thanks, hon!

Poor Harry, too - he always wants to just fix things - being only able to just 'be there', and Draco not even wanting that from him, is killing him.

Oh god, the sex scene - I'm so glad it's over and that it worked. :D I always find myself getting so distracted by the mechanics!

I've started on the next chapter! Aren't I being good? ;D

Thanks for everything, hon. X

You convey the emotions of these two so well. They're boys growing into men and forced faster down that path by war. They flash from lust to rage to sorrow and back.

Then there are all the Slytherin plots: Voldemort, Snape, Lucius, Draco, Evadne. None of them perfectly overlap, and we're never completely sure which is dominant in Draco's mind at a time. Any of which would cause the Gryffindors to chunk him.

I do hope Narcissa is safe with Snape and not just being kept safe by Snape while in Voldemort's custody. She could definitely be used to bring Draco to heel, despite his father's murder.

And all that leaves out the werewolf side of the equation.

Things are going to get even more interesting!

The werewolf side of the equation's going to become a lot more prominent in the next chapters! ;)

Draco's in such a hard place - he's pretty much committed to the Order and bringing Voldemort down in his own right now, but he's got so many secrets and other demands on his loyalty - and, as you say, any of those secrets could be enough to get him rejected if he's found out. He's certainly being forced to grow up fast - but then, he'd already started to leave the spoiled little prince behind him in HBP. Harry's changing as well - I'm just not as confident that I'm doing it right. I find him so hard to write.

Thanks! X

Great chapter!

I hoped that Lucius survived, oh, well. Poor Draco. On the other hand, Draco does not need to betray Harry now or ever.

Cannot wait to know what will happen next!

Cheers!

Poor Draco, indeed. I seem to enjoy making him suffer. :/

The next chapter shouldn't be so long in coming. ;) X
