eh. sucks ass to be on lj these days. first the comm (you know what), then this.

My problem with this vigilante group (because it's a vigilante group) is that they are not backed by any organization (which probably is the reason why they went to lj abuse and not to the police) and they CAN'T DISTINGUISH FACT FROM FICTION, WTF.

Hm... Interesting. I've spent most of my working day having a poke around and reading through all this. I'm not a huge part of any fandom really, occasionally my head is stuck in... This is shocking and a true shame because even if this person is trying to help take down predators, they have pissed of too many people and probably now lost a lot of valuble help and time.

Also:

I guess this rants boils down to: it is so difficult for people to understand the difference between fiction and fact? And were were their parents when they should have been sitting with them in front of their TV, computer or books and explaining why it's ok for Batman to jump from roof to roof killing villains right and left but they should not try it at home?

I am stunned at the sheer stupidity of the deletions. I agree that it is great to keep unwanted folks at bay, but like you said DO RESEARCH FIRST. Then again, isn't that the basis of most chaos? It's like we're searching for those WMDs again.
