*By the time she arrives, Ichi's already donned her new cloak, packed and prepped. Dot can find her right outside the building, hovering a few feet above the ground -- just high enough to keep the bottom of her duffel bag from dragging.*

*It looks... full... but she doesn't seem to notice the weight, even when she switches to a one-handed grip so she can wave to her friend.*

Dot, hey~! ♥

[And she cheerfully returns the wave]

Hey, Ichi! Ready to go?

[Dot's carrying the same backpack she had for their warehouse trip, and it looks no more full than at the end of THAT...]

Uh-huh! ♪

*Glancing around, she asks:* Is anyone else coming, or is it just the two of us...?

Yeah, just us~

...That's not a problem, right?

[Voice]

[Yup, that's right. She WAS expecting some call, right? If not, she still gets one.

It wasn't right away. But, eventually, Yakko does decide to check in and see if she's deciding to head anywhere pointedly stupid. Other than blowing off her family without so much as an 'oh by the way'. Kinda a pity he couldn't find some real way to get her over the communi--

-- he could.

After much compiling of things, and a bit too much effort on his part, he's managed to get a small sound library database extensive enough mostly from recording sounds off movies. Namely, in this case, various animal calls, just to see how long it takes her to catch on.

And at that moment, Dot's communicator starts warbling and chirping merrily away, at low volume.]

[Voice]

[Now, if there was ONE thing Dot had learned from her archive binge (there were several, but let's not get into that), it was that storing your communicator in hammerspace is really the best idea.

So when she starts hearing birds, she can't really tell where it's coming from at first-]

...Can you hear that?

[Voice]

...The birds...?

*She's looking around, but there's no sign of any songbirds, so...*

...?

*...Yup, she's confused.*

[The birds seem to fade away, then one sounds quite agitated, and can be clearly heard reading the other bird the riot act. However soft they started, they're getting softer. Like they're moving away, maybe. Somewhere.

Meanwhile, Yakko Warner's clapped one hand firmly over his mouth, silently laughing and being very careful to not actually let that make a sound.]

[Meanwhile, back in the water tower, schemes were schemed, plans were planned and plots were - actually Plotz wasn't involved

[Wakko was just about to smash the alarm clock before his brother turned it off, and was just about to fall back asleep when he remembered the “revenge plot”. Despite still being groggy with half his mind trying to persuade him to go back asleep and the other half being convinced, he crawled out of bed.

Considering that they were going to go back to bed after this was all over, they ended up having simple breakfasts. Specifically, Yakko had a bowl of cereal while Wakko just poured milk into a cereal box and ate the entire thing.

A little while after more minor details involving getting ready, the Warner brothers waited on the railing of the Water Tower for the sun to rise. They sat there for a few minutes until Wakko spoke up.]

Y'think we can hear her from here? Without the communicator?

[Leans on said railing, staring at the general City skyline. Pretty content to do so, too - and not just because he's still partly asleep. No, no. This is peaceful.]

Better from here than over there.

[He, on the other hand, is sitting on the edge of the Water Tower, looking out into the horizon and seeing if he can make out Dot wherever she is.

He laughs at Yakko's comment.]

AND THEN KITH KICKSTARTED THE PLOT

[It takes a few more hours, since neither of them was much interested in a forced march, but eventually the mountains loom in front of them. Sheer, unclimbable cliffs, and they don't look friendly either.

Dot takes a moment to stop and stare up and up and up...]

Ya know, if I didn't know any better, I'd say these were put here to keep people IN.

*At first, it's all Ichigo can do to nod in response. Tilting her head back, her gaze travels up and up and up the jagged walls...*

*...It's not often she actually feels tiny.*

...Yeah...

*It's not an idle boast. (One made without any real concept of what exactly she's up against, but that can't be helped...) Hovering just over Dot's head, she studies the range, instinctively trying to plot a course just by eyeballing it.*

[And it's almost a parade! Dot's chasing Ichi who's chasing Oscar who's chasing Discopig!]

[Mayor realizes that he's being followed by more than his monsters.]

Hey! You two, go back to the city!!

[The mountain range is looming higher ahead of them- It almost seems like the pig is LEADING them that way..]
