OOC: Respond to this post here to start your own mingling thread! You can jump onto other people's threads as well, and have fun with it! The meat of the event will come later on, but for now you can respond to this post for your character's 'introduction' on the boat, to make your own thread, or jump on other people's as you'd like!
*Hanna stands near the front of the boat, looking out across the sea. He narrows his eyes, to see if there was any sight of anything in the water or any land for that matter, but he slumps his shoulders a little, seeing nothing.
He leans against the railing and rests his chin in his hand, looking up at the sky with a small smile. If they found a way out of here, it'd be great! But, he'd probably go back if they did find a way out. Hanna always looked out for everyone else before himself. And until everyone else was outta here, he'd go home too.*
[And as usual, Edgeworth is bored as well. He wasn't a fan of boats. They were like EARTHQUAKE MACHINES ON WATER. His stomach could be feeling a lot better, but he won't complain. He did however, bring some shades with him. Yeah, that totally makes him 100% cooler in his eyes.]
[While this trip has gone relatively peacefully and quietly so far, it appears that things will not stay that way for much longer. As the boat had drifted farther out to sea, it had steadily passed into a faint fog, blocking most visibility for what lay around them...
But if you look and listen closely, you can see what lies deep below.
A dark mass churns and rolls underneath the still ocean. It's too big and meltingly fluid to be any kind of animal but it moves with enough intention to clearly be alive. Occasionally faces can be seen peering up through the dark, coupled with echoes that bounce between chilling laughter and grief-striken sobbing. White eyes blink and tendrils flex upwards occasionally, but it doesn't seem like the mass has noticed the boat yet.
Let's see how long that lasts.]
((ooc: Okay, so here be the monsters! Feel free to respond to it individually, or have characters team up, whatever~ However you wanna respond

*After getting the heads up from Megamind, it was sure time to turn the boat around and head back 'home'. The ink had dissipated, and it looked to be clear on the way back to land.*
{{OOC: So, same thing here, post separately or as a group or what not for the whole aftermath. Pretty much the ink monsters are gone, and they are heading back!}}
*Hanna leans against the wheel of the boat and looks rather ragged. His arm was bloody with teeth marks punctured into it. Like most people on board, he had tangled with the Ink Monsters. He looks over his shoulder at the others and furrows his brow a bit. He didn't mean for all this to go so badly.
He felt guilty. And most of all... did they really get anything out of this? He winces as some blood dribbles from his mouth as well, his legs shaking as well, but he keeps his hands on the wheel, a little paranoid*

[He looks over, seeing Phoenix.]
Oh, I'm fine, Wright. I'm just still kind of nervous to..ground shaking. Or in this case, water shaking.
