That sounds quite reasonable.
I'm sure people find me complacent about the elction, and althogh I felt the worst of the two candidates won, neither of them appeal to me and the way I feel I should live.
The war and hows it's been handled upsets me,and makes me worried about the future and man's decomation of man.
The gay marriage ammendment upset me,to know that people are such bigots that they would vote in such a way.The banning of civil unions in our state disgusted me.

I'm too cynical, too jaded, and nothing surprises me,not matter how dissapointing it may be.

I hear you.

I don't want to be gullible, so I have to look at these hurdles straight-on.

I also don't want to feel hopeless. There's always something I can do to make it better.

I just need to scratch my noggin on it.

It wouldn't be so bad if he hadn't won the popular vote.
Everything is so..what's the word?..Polarized(?) right now that it's fuckin' ridiculous.
I felt let down because I thought people were farther along than they obviously are.
I truly did,and it was like a suckerpunch.

Yeah, I guess I had some sneaking faith that folks had seen the light and wanted similar change, change away from the nightmare Bush had left.

Man, I can't view that link! (Pout.) I needed to feel better! (Stomp.)

Since you mention clarklane, he posted a pic the other day of his Silence=Death t-shirt which struck me as an important message that could be applied in many ways with regard to the elections. It's not a new message, but one that bears repeating.

Yeah, I agree: It's time for a return to that kind of mindset. Dead-on.
