A Short Northern Waddle II: Conversation By the Book

Jul 26, 2006 14:12

Driving north away from Cave City, I knew I wanted to make good time before I lost the sun. I pushed the car a little bit, impressed at its performance thusfar and found it was hard to get a signal on my cell phone, couldn't find any sustained company for the longer leg of my drive.

Vanity thinks you should explain about that last photo... how it was so hot on the street it melted our sunglasses on our faces.

Glad to have been included in this adventure of yours. And thanks for the kind words.

"It was hard to leave. I felt the car drag, wanting to stay." That was me holding the bumper. See you soon.

Haha! I had an explanation ready about the photo cos I really do not know what my facial expression is, but I decided I just didn't want to. You, though, look great as always!

Included? Haha! You were the main event! :) That was me holding the bumper. What's even funnier about your saying that is that I lost track of where you were for a second just as I drove off; I saw you for a second towards the rear of the car, thought you had gone, felt the car sort of linger, and *poof!* you were at the window again. :)

Thank you, Bubba, for an amazing visit!
