Hood & Pluck

I haven't been to see my folks since Xmas. I'll be going home to see them this weekend. Am having the hood of my car superficially repaired so that it'll close & open, latch again, not catch on-coming 70-mph wind under its new wrinkles.

Saturday morning I'll be going up with my mom, dad, and grandmother to Uncle Dave Macon Days, a bluegrass

Ever since I was a little kid, I have wanted a mandolin... I would've spent all my bluegrass money on that raffle.

I got to hold it and talk to a guy about playing mandolin. It's the instrument I think I'd like to learn. I nearly slobbered over it. If I win it this year, I'll loan it out to you for part of the year, ok? :)
