I agree with whoever said this is great in a horrible sort of way. Everybody's going to be carrying guilt, and Nick's got a load of repressed anger to work through, you have to continue this. Will it turn out alright, or will the entire thing be angsty?

My poor, poor Nicky. You know, I'm more into schmoopy stuff and usually find myself skimming over the hurt to get to the comfort, but this was really intense and compelling and I couldn't stop reading. But please Gil, get him out of there.
