Son of a Scoundrel, Heart of Gold II: Hot Days, Hotter Nights

Wherein our heroes reach India and Pete does buy Patrick an elephant, and they go to lots of banquets where Patrick wears gorgous Indian silks and Pete just cannot keep his hands off him and, I dunno, maybe Patrick gets kidnapped so that he can be held ransom for Pete's fourtune? Or, instead, maybe just lots o' hot sex and maybe Patrick takes Pete to his father's mission and Pete manages to get stories of Patrick's awkward but darling crush on Sanji?

Hi! *hearts*

HIHI! I still like the idea of Patrick tying Pete up with bright silk scarves, the night air thick through the mosquito netting around the giant master bed, both of them covered in a sheen of sweat, slightly drunk from the rains and the wine...

Pete had bought the scarves as a gift for Marjorie and is slightly horrified once he realizes Patrick's intent. The horror doesn't last long, though, and Marjorie receives a perfectly lovely gold elephant statue when the happy couple returns to England.

I love how there are page jumps and how you left sections up to the reader's imagination.

Oh! And Gabe as Patrick's father? OhMyGodwow. When Gabe said son I laughed.

Question: Dhanyavaad? Context clues makes me want to believe it's Thank you, but maybe it isn't?

It does mean thank you! I am glad the context worked! (and I hope I used the word right-- I stole it right from Wiki!)

And yeah, Gabe as Patrick's dad is hilarious, but romace novels are all about suspending your window of disbelief! lol

*flails* I loved this!!! X3
Gabe was a complete bastard villian, and it was wonerful.

I truely love how Patrick and Pete got him back in the end though.
Gabes expression had to have been priceless.

Hi! Finally catching up on comments! Thanks so much for this, and making Gabe the villian was WAY TOO EASY. *grin*

Oh. Oh! This was simply marvelous. I love the skipping ahead of pages, that was really clever of you to write it that way. Patrick being an Indian-an-heart! Pete being a Lord! Patrick also ending up being a Lord! Gabe makes the best villain, also.

Thank you so much!! Patrick in his blues and reds makes me SO HAPPY, like he's this accidental brightly colored bird in the dreariness of nineteenth century London.
