But man, what a harrowing first chapter. I think you and I both have a bit of a thing for manipulativeruthless!Cas but it still is really difficult to be confronted with him doing something like this even if OTHOAP did imply the angels are well-versed in the art of torture. Love Cas’s bit of introspection into what Dean might think of this. It actually made me think of The End, only in this scenario it’s like their positions are reversed and it’s Cas who is becoming the battle-hardened leader.
