I know! The sad part is that I can spot one from the first sentence... and still go through half of it before finally managing to stop.

Oh, God, how awful! Give good criticism with a smile and then run for dear life? xD Idk, I've never had this happen to me, simply because my irl friends aren't into ANY fandom (normal ppl, yeash). What did you do?
