Another flood to mark off the list. At least this one was less violent than others I've been a part of. I hesitate to wonder what comes next, but, I have to admit that I'm curious.

I had forgotten what it felt like to mark time by disasters. Deaths. Assaults. Floods. Ports. They all tell the time better than days do. After all, I do not remember
