Dexter-Ann Arbor races; O Fortuna

Today I volunteered at the Dexter-Ann Arbor half marathon. I've been wanting to volunteer at some races for a long time, but the trail runs are all twenty miles out of town, and apparently trail runners don't believe in carpooling. Did you ask all the finishing runners to climb on each others' backs in stacks based on which minute they finished the race to form a histogram of finishing times?

Or maybe not "climb", but at least "collapse in a particular heap, rather than picking one at random."

After Dances With Dirt, the 50k/50mi ultra, they actually had people at the finish line telling you "don't sit down!"
