it's almost too bad that you couldn't take the dog out of the house when the baby came in. (given him a new home with no kids, not killed him or anything!)

i think my stepmom and i were too selfish and naive to get rid of the dog. we didn't want to believe that he'd actually do something like this and we thought that there were always enough people around to watch him.
