Fresh sheets and free speech

Drying the washing on the line is one of the great pleasures of springtime for me. Every day I take my big wicker basket of clean damp cloth out into the garden, it makes me smile. I agree about drying washing on the line, although I don't enjoy getting it in or out, even when Izzy helps by handing me things out of the basket. I wish I could take more pleasure in little things like that, it would make life brighter.

Good luck with the surveyor. With a bit of luck you'll come out of all of this with a shiny new car and a new fitted kitchen and cooker that you haven't had to pay for.

I cannot reconcile how I feel about such bigoted idiots, and my belief that people should be free to say what they feel. It's a hard, hard decision and I honestly have no idea how to come to terms with on the one hand wanting to turn water cannon on the bigots, and just wishing they would go away...

YES.....I agree....The right to free speech must include those people you disagree with or it isn't free speech.
