ILU for playing Leroux!Erik! And for taking the leap and sometimes exploiting his melodramatic tendencies in a humorous way. <3 it, makes for good reading, makes me want to spontaneously generate a Leroux!Christine, keep it up pretty please and thank you.
Thank you so much--if you see this. I often worry about putting him in "funny" territory, but it's hard to resist, seeing as how ridiculous he is even if canon doesn't quite see it that way (and has to take itself seriously to work). Putting him into any other context, though, and his absurdities look quite different.

Anywho, I absolutely agree. Frankly, I think that Erik's oddities have the potential to be hilarious -- not to mention, he's an absolute pro with snarky little witticisms. No matter how many times I read that conversation of his with the Daroga in the cellar, I still chuckle.
Well hello! It's funny, I was just talking to Laura Palmer's mun about how awesome it would be for Erik to become obsessed with her, with Laura basically being Christine's opposite in all but looks.
