I'm still not quite onto Robin Hood, but that's really cool! :O
Ooh, I love history and seeing how people used to live, too. That show sounds pretty awesome. :)
Yay, Freema Agyeman and Matthew Macfadyen! :) I love recognizing figures in BBC, haha. You're so caught up on all the BBC dramas, though--I don't really know/watch any. :o But this Andrew Davies seems to be behind everything.
Those books sound really interesting! And ooh, I've never seen Mansfield Park (I plan on rereading it soon) or Vanity Fair (but I haven't read the latter yet, either--did you like it?).
I've never heard of The War Bride, but it sounds awesome. I'll put it on my to-watch list. ;) And Anna Friel is from Pushing Daisies, yes? :D I never knew she was British! *slow*
Our Mutual Friend... who's that by? Is that Oscar Wilde? Or Charles Dickens? Or am I being stupid? Hahaha. I need to read that, in any case. Dickens, I'm thinking.

Tess of the D'Urbervilles is the next fall drama for the BBC ... but oooh, Hans Matheson!
Yay this looks good! I wish Hans was playing Angel though :) I really liked the other version of Tess. The guy who played Angel was so dreamy.

Hee, I actually stumbled upon that video while I was trying to find clips/episodes of the '98 version. Looks like a pretty promising version, even though it is rather old. :P

There is Tess... looking at me from the shelf... never found the courage to read it... I'm a fan of happy endings myself! But I guess I'll end up watching it anyway....
