Why do they always make them so ugly?The DVD covers, I mean. They're not very pretty at all! The Region 2 DVDs are so nice, at least in comparison! And they don't have specialy features

I saw those yesterday, and UGGGGH. Persuasion's is rather similar, but the others are sooooo ugly ;_____;. I'm still buying them, of course. I am in dire need of Northanger especially =D.

I know.... Actually it's slightly different - here's the Region 2 version. (Different text/layout...)

I so wish I had a multi region DVD player! I so want to get this instead because it's exacty the ones I want. I didn't really like Persuasion. Plus that looks so much nicer! :)

NA and Persuasion aren't that bad. The only one that gets me is Mansfield Park for some reason, even though it's made in the same style as NA's cover.

Regardless, I'm just glad to see that the Region 1 DVDs are on their way. :D The measure of a book -- or in this case, DVD -- isn't in the prettiness of its cover, right? ;) (although I would agree that cover-prettiness is certainly a factor to consider!)

Hmm the Persuasion one isn't too bad. But just yay for living in England so I don't have to worry. And being cheap and recording them from the TV... then taping over MP because I didn't like it. LOL.

(Wrt your other post... I will also fall for a gentleman. Whoop)

The R2 Persuasion is the same as that one you linked for your R1. The othe two are different though, and as you said... ugly. Out of the three I don't own Mansfield Park, but when I get around to it, I'll stick with the R1 cover :D

The ITV Sense and Sensibility must be released soon in the UK as well, right?
