mshollie and I enjoyed our weekend. Saturday afternoon we had a late lunch at Juan's Flying Burrito; I had the jerk chicken burrito and Hollie a quesadila. Ms. Hollie had been craving a mojito-- as we knew Juan makes better burritos than mojitos, we went over to St. Joe's Bar on Magazine Street afterwards-- but apparently they aren't open in the day time ( Read more... )

The International Food and Wine Festival in Epcot has a little New Orleans booth. I had some gumbo and crawfish etoufee and I have to say they were actually pretty good but of course nothing like the real thing in NOLA.

Frankly next time I'll let the inlaws take Alex to Disney World and the missus and I might trek over to NOLA for a few days.
