If this story actually manages to grow legs (which, given the past failure of the MSM to get the Katrina story even vaguely right, seems bloody unlikely) that'll be the spin.
Trust me, they'll spend so much time and effort smearing and 'investigating' the whistleblowers, people will forget all about those levee whatchamacallits.
I've gotten into the habit lately of telling people in other parts of the country that they need to watch what happens here very closely, because we're the canary in the mineshaft. This is what the whole country is going to look like when the Bush/Cheyney crowd gets done with it.
