LJ Friends- I am looking for examples of art as social commentary- any links or images would be appreciated. Yes- this is for my HS students. So some amount of visual sanitation is necessary. Tanks, T.
Thanks- I used lots of the Otis Dix you recommended. I had almost eliminated Kolliwitz priorly but your link had some less subtle images that were better able to express the message I was attempting to convey. I used Guernica already. Also the Guerilla GIrls, Bansky and a ton of unknowns. Thanks!
