Light at the end of the tunnel(?)

Not long after my last blog entry, I emailed my doctor asked if we could look into an MRI or something to get the better idea of what I needed to do to fix my shoulder. He responded and indicated that he was quite certain of his diagnosis and that he'd like to refer me to an orthopedic specialist to discuss my options ( Read more... )

and for the love of god, please take whit out to the driving range. he's going to develop butt-initis from all the time he spends in his office chair.

Absolutely! As soon as I've got the go-ahead from my doctor I'm going to be hitting the range regularly. I'll be sure to nag Whit and make sure he comes out to hit some golf balls with me. :)

I have to ask...have you been doing your yoga? and maybe a shot of acupuncture? These things work miracles!

I tried yoga repeatedly but it was just too punshing on my shoulder. I may give it another shot now that the pain has been cut back significantly. I've yet to try Acupuncture but it's still on my list. Before I try there, there's a vibration-based therapy that I want to look into that is supposedly very effective at solving the kind of calcified tendonitis I have... although Kaiser doesn't offer it so I'll probably have to pay through the nose for it. :/
