I don't know how I managed to miss this before. It's lovely, extremely well written - florid when it needs to be, delicate when it needs to be, always a balancing act that eludes the ability of too many writers - and it rings beautifully true. The section with the Doctor's Seventh incarnation may be my favorite, but all of it is exceptional. Thank you for writing the story!
