this is so great and so sad T__T i really like the pov you used! and how it was in past tense, which gave the whole thing a sort of regretful tone that is really beautiful. i'm glad that you were sensitive with it too. the whole thing feels very careful and just ambiguous enough, which i appreciate. the little details - the elevator one floor down, the headphones - are so great. i didn't have anything in particular in mind with this prompt so i'm glad you did. thank you for writing this ;_____;
