Even though this is for the challenge, I really do like HanMin! I hope you might do more of them. : ) I liked it a long. It was short, sweet, and to the point. I like how it sounds like a flashback, but not really. Just a memory and it makes it nostalgic and touching. I'm glad the ending was happy, well almost. : ) Geng is not a drug addict and he didn't die. It would be sweet to have a sequel to this. Hee hee. Just saying.
haha thank you! yes i wanted this to be bittersweet, because that's what a lot of people's lives are like - not here nor there. people have made mistakes, and a lot of them never recover from them, and especially drug use - a lot of people in high school, or even younger, already start using drugs. it upsets me a little, really.
This is super sweet and even though the concept is angsty and edgy, it ended really sweet. I enjoyed the little mentions of Super Junior and their questionable sexuality XD
Friendship fics are wonderful, sometimes I forget that and get caught up in the pairings, but this worked perfectly without them being together.
haha thank you! yes, i don't really consider writing friendship fics, but since this is for the challenge and i can't change the pairing, i decided to make it friendship since i couldn't really see them be romantic with each other XD as always, thanks for the comment! i really appreciate them :)
...you are seriously becoming one of my favourite authors in this fandom. i've always had a soft spot for hanmin (friendship or love) but no one really writes them at all. :(
i love the way the narration really reflects on the quiet relationship between the two. the ending was a bit sad, but really lovely nonetheless.
Ah, you killed off my bias T.T But irregardless, the Hanmin friendship was abso-effin'-lutely gorgeous. (Seriously, how do you produce such lovely fics one right after another?) I've never really given them much thought, and there aren't that many fics for them, so this was especially wonderful (along with the meta references to Suju). I really liked their relationship- kinda quiet and deeper than words, and the drug use added this seriousness and slight touch of darkness that made it all the more captivating. I do hope that they will meet up again even though this poignant ending fits so darn well with the overall mood. Gorgeous, I tell you, so so gorgeous.
but don't you think that was such a fitting way for heechul to die? /shot
oh i don't think any of my drabbles are refined or polished at all, i usually just write them to vent because that's the best way for me to get rid of my emotional stress XD but i'm so glad you like them! thanks for always commenting, it's always so encouraging <3
