I wasn't allowed near any internet system until now, so I can only answer right here before I have to go.

The first work of yours had the edge; in-character and very keen on the nature of the ShikaSaku pairing. Don't put yourself down.

Besides, if it helps, you're better at writing this than me. I don't do well with short drabbles -__-

As for the second work...I guess I'm not used to italicized thoughts in writing. Still, the work had a strong hold on the subtlety, so kudos to you for that. ^_^

Talking about the Naruto fandom, I feel a bit annoyed seeing High School AU fics with SasuSaku NaruHina NejiTen and ShikaIno lined out. >.> Even if I like SasuSaku, I DON'T like the way they write both Sasuke and Sakura OOC, don't appreciate the NaruHina in which Naruto instantly thinks Hinata is cute, never liked NejiTen, and the ShikaIno wasn't good enough to make up for the whole fic. Those four pairings are not the "most canon ever so that other pairings suck"! Geez.
